Director and cabinetmaker Carl Hooper started Wardrobe World in Darwin in 1999 with a belief “it’s better to have a little bit of awesome than a whole lot of average.”
Now called FormfunctionNT, Carl and his partner Sharon Kelly still deliver shelf storage and custom built wardrobes to builders and home renovators in every state.

Carl Hooper, Director
In 1999 Carl took on the Wardrobe World Franchise and began fabricating and Installing Mirror Sliding Doors and Closetmaid Shelving.
2002 he was given the opportunity to take over an elfa shelving distributorship and seeing the cleverness of the system and the flexibility it provided his customers he happily took it over.
2004 Carl realised there was a need in the market for more design features in sliding doors, he loved the fact that he could give customers design qualities that co ordinate floors and furniture in the bedroom, laundry, home office etc.
Sharon Kelly, Director
Sharon has been involved with Form Function NT since 2008 after working in Hospitality Management for over 10 years.
She is Carl’s partner and they work together in the business.
Sharon’s responsibility lies with over seeing the Business, the day to day Financials and Marketing.
